It has been years that we have dream of a complete Quranic font which can support all Subcontinent punctuations and can support kashida or advance spacing like features. The fonts currently in use like Salim Quranic font or noor-e-hidayat font lacks some of these features. Brother Arifkarim (a member at and ) has started working on a new Quranic font named .

But due to some problems Arifkarim was unable to release this font. But later Arfikarim and Shakir Ul Qadree (Alqlm Forum Site Admin and Urdu Mehfil member) both decided to make this font more attractive and comprehensive for this Shakir Ul Qadree has started to add new ligatures in this font and now this font have become a promising an more attractive font.

And Atlast today First release of Alqalam quranic font is made today. please have a look at it and coomment if you found any problem.

PTCL in partnership with CISCO is establishing a center of Excellence in IP technologies at SEECS Campus H-12 NUST on 6th August at 1500 Hrs. The center will comprise one million dollar worth of CISCO Lab Equipment. The future of communication is shifting from a voice and voice related services to Media, IT and Telephony services. Delivering all these services via a common IP infrastructure is a key driver. All of the technologies have matured in a way to allow us to do that. The goal of this center at NUST is to develop a service delivery environment for PTCL with lots of improvements in traditional telecom areas and pursue research in this important field in partnership with CISCO experts.

May I request all faculty and maximum students to participate in this important. I am sure this will provide unique opportunity for research in this important technology to our faculty and students.

I’ve upgraded my blog from Wordpress 2.5 to Wordpress 2.6 successfully!

I’ve been looking for the best and easiest way to upgrade my Wordpress installation for this blog as I was scared to lose my files and start from scratch again. But Thanks to Almighty Allah, everything went normal and it took me 30 mins to upgrade it to 2.6.

Some of the plugin i was using having some problem but hope so I will be able to sort them out. Insha’Allah.

I have designed a news theme of wordpress for my company. this theme is is a completely customizable, 3-column, Widget-ready, easy to use premium theme that expands the possibilities of WordPress. This Theme is compatible upto Wordpress 2.5.1.
